Tokyo Station Food Porn aka SmaSTATION 2013.01.19

Apparently Tokyo station had an uplift last year, and that includes the inside. Hence, first you'd need to go out from the comfortable underground of Tokyo to take pics like what tourists should be doing then go back inside to indulge on what we always do when it comes to most train station's basement in Tokyo.

For those folks who are planning to go Tokyo this year and will be stopping by Singapore *to meet me especially*, yes I'm looking at you gals LOL, you'll have my wish list Hahahaha....

First, we have Daimaru's basement of bentou section, they even list down the Top 10 list, sasuga, SmaSTATION!








Settaku mille feuille -- this bowl of chirashi sushi made Shingo can't be bothered with the question (though he answered correctly) and just gobbling up the food.








Self explanatory food porn, what Iike about Japanese variety show, 1 screenshot has all the info that you need, the place name, the food name and the price!!!




I like this bentou! it has tofu burger with plentiful of veggie and considered to be quite low in calories too (689 calories to be exact)...








Gyutan bentou!!! Sold 600 packs per day... and Shingo kept on munching on them and asked for seconds and keep holding chopsticks around when they proceed to the next stall, Shingo really loved this episode (since he never gets to eat in the studio LOL)...

And off course, the #1 must be... WAGYU!!!! It looks so mouthwatering and...










Yes, our beloved national idol just kept on munching quietly at 1 corner, he literally didn't say anything during this part LOL!!! It must be damn good!!!

Now we proceed to Tokyo Station Grandsta section with Top 5 Best Sweets... basically those sweets that you can bring home for OMIYAGE hahaha...









Dorayaki, sold 1000 per day... must be good!
In this section, Shingo also didn't say that much, he basically just munch, munch, munch and looked stoned with good food LOL...


Kawaii!!!!!! I want 1 box of this



As much as I want these macaroons, I don't think they last that long for omiyage, BUT, you gotta try this and their #1 flavor is Salted Caramel!








Daifuku, this one seriously look good!!!










Look at somebody busy munching... and they have the Ichigo (strawberry) daifuku too, and I think you gotta try their ichigo daifuku because it's different from the regular ones...

Top#1 is karintou (one of Japanese traditional sweets). This one is not that sweet according to the testers who have been munching for the last 1/2 hours... and their #1 flavor is Kinpira Gobou!







Again, the summary... I love this show already...









And now we've reached Tokyo Eki Ichiban Gai, basically the main 'street', so we have the top 5 popular shops:



This shop looks yum yum... remember to drop by and queue for the dessert, only 650Yen, not bad!



And at the Top 2, we have Ramen Street and wait, we have Top 3 ramen for you to try too!!!












At #1, we have Tsukemen (my fave ramen) its broth uses tonkotsu and katsuo, must try!!!








At #1, it's the Snack heaven!!!! Tokyo Okashiland









OMG!!! Rainow Pocky!!!! I want I want I want!!!!










They have the Make your own Calbee potato chips and guess what, they fry them in OLIVE OIL!!!


Shingo bought beer!!! So must have beer with snack? Me approve LOL

Yes, Potato chips must be eaten with ice cream! I was right from long time ago and Calbee approves too and they even add chocolate!!!








Shingo asked for seconds LOL, man gotta love his beer!

Huge Shingo's trolling face after winning (they were asked questions throughout the whole episodes and were tallied by points) and more trolling face after he bullied the female guest by pretending to give his prize LOL

And off course, being the beloved national idol, he's not really trolling, he really gave the prize for the female guest to enjoy the Tokyo Station hotel stay with her husband ... because... no way SMAP will reveal on national TV that they're spending a night in a hotel and that prize is for a COUPLE... LOL!!!!
