Oh. I just have to comment. Yasashii Jikan is one of my favorite dramas, ever. I agree that the setting really made it beautiful and all the more haunting, but the performances in this drama were just really amazing. Everything moves so slow yet it breaks your heart. And mends it too.
I was super over the moon with Masami and Nino on this one. I concur with you, they were completely adorable in this drama. Azu is just, I don't know, her character really spoke to me--she wasn't someone you'd normally root for and you would question her moments of selfishness, because what the hell--but Azu as a character just rang so true to me. And I think she was perfect with Takuro--they weren't perfect for each other, but they were whe each other needed the most. I think that goes for most of the relationships in this drama. They were all so real and so raw, and just...god.
(PS: I never did get all the Masami hate, gosh. I love her. :( )
AND YES, THAT SCENE. CRYING FOREVER. NOW YOU MAKE ME WANT TO WATCH THIS AGAIN BUT I'M AFRAID OF FEELING EVERYTHING ALL OVER AGAIN LOL
