I never see a hotel concierge this eye candy I feel like Japanese companies put a LOT more emphasis on the LOOKS of their service staff (compared to the US at least), especially in places like this or with flight attendants, etc. though, so I don't find it strange. Actually Japanese people in general seem to put a lot more emphasis on their looks, at least in places like Tokyo. I hear people say stuff like "you won't meet any guys that look like Johnny's or girls that look like AKB in Japan because they're idols and not normal people," but um, Tokyo is full of better looking people than Johnny's/AKB. Yeah. End of rant. ;P
