I know, that includes those in Japan for eye candy hotel concierge, at least from my experience. Totally with you that you won't see anybody not good looking on the service line in Japan, but often I find that good looking is more of pleasant looking and easy to the eyes in reality, not really purely eye candy.
Japan is not like Korea where you really only find people look like idols on TV, I saw so many people look like Kame if not much better looking on the street LOL.
