Something totally non-Johnny's... but in the end I still can relate it to Johnny's LOL...

I went to L'Arc en Ciel 20th L'Anniversary Concert in the local dearest Singapore today (well, yesterday to be exact). Why? It's Laruku! and you don't need to buy air ticket and hotel to watch it and I never been in a J-rock con before, so yeah, I'm in!

I reached Indoor Stadium at 1pm, thinking I was early only to find out that the queue for concert goods already circling to the back of the stadium *gasp in horror*

And this is the tail of the queue, by this time I already upgraded to the middle and it's 1 hour after! Compare this to V6 concert goods queue? Far out because V6's queue was long too that time, but it moved so fast compare to this...

After another hour plus, I finally saw the light...

The booth was puny! Well, there's not much goods to buy or to choose from. There's no uchiwa, no photoshop, no clear folder, no other funny goods that makes me think Johnny's is a genius in ripping our money. But hey, at least they have goods, which is always fun :d. And their t-shirts are not free size, so it's wearable! Yey!

And the stupid me later on find out there's another booth set up on the other entrance and it's quite quiet... what a waste of my energy for standing 2 plus hours to queue... As you can see, not much, right? hehehe... this is good, so you don't have dilemma what to buy :)

Yeah, I'm this close, can see those bouncers' face clearly from my seat, so yeah I'm close LOL... lots of squeeling fangirls when they saw it's that close, but soon squeeling turned to whining because Singapore Stadium is small...

The back view of the stadium, yeah, it's small... I think the whole floor can't even accommodate the stages for Arena shows because I heard fangirls complaining that this is smaller than Saitama Arena... OK, never been there before, but I believe them because I myself thought Fukuoka Marine Messe is slightly bigger than this... and I did see amazing fans! There are fans who went to the US and Bangkok shows, there are fans who flew from all over ASEAN countries and there're 2 Japanese fanboys who really go to ALL of the world tour shows... me: full of admiration and respect!

Not a very good picture, because my phone doesn't have zoom *I think*, but yeah, I was sitting behind a giant (literally! His height is almost 2m i guess) so, to be able to see the stage is a huge relief. And this giant did a very annoying thing, he just recorded and took pictures, which is a bit distracting especially if you're in the hype for a song. This makes me appreciate Johnny's ridiculous policy of no camera (they really enforce it whenever they can).

And,now it's time for the concert goods LOOT!!! Yeyyy!!!

Glow sticks... OK, it'll be weird if they sell penlight in shapes, so I guess this is what normal concert has :D... but look at the bright side, though they rip it off from the price perspective, at least you don't need to search out there for eg. blue glow sticks, like what my friend did for her May Day's concert...

Concert t-shirt. I think the quality is quite good, This one come in a package, though I only want the t-shirt...

Eco bag and another t-shirt. This t-shirt is a result of impulse buying just because I saw people wearing it and it looks quite nice. Lots of girls bought the white color, but I choose the grey one which usually worn by guys, but hey, it's unisex, so I could care less :d :d...

OK, can I say that this is the proof that you're sitting on the front rows? And can I also say only Japanese concert will label their confetti? I saw these kinds from blogs before but they're all from J-pop (well, Johnny's to be exact) and I don't think K-pop concerts throw this kind of confetti (at least not the SS501 concert that I went to years ago) and I have no idea about the western ones...

So, yeah, it's a great fun experience and I get to see fanboys enjoying themselves in the concert too, while the girls went crazy for Hyde, well, for all the band members actually. L'Arc en Ciel totally owned the stage and the whole 2 hours show is like watching non stop a blown up M-station performances (you can assume the MC part = the talk part w/ Tamori-san). Fan service was everywhere especially from Hyde, as expected and who would mind hehe... Hyde's voice is so captivating and he has big voice which makes me think it'll sound better if the venue is bigger... so, will I go again if Laruku come to Singapore again? You bet!

Hello! Saw your concert report by chance and just wondering are you a V6 fan as well? :D

I'm a V6 fan from Singapore who also went for Laruku's concert! (Because in your photo of the queue, my friend and I got captured inside too hahahaha)

I had a lot of fun during the concert and I'm quite envious you had such a great seat. But happy how Laruku is receiving so much love from JE fans too :)

Cheers!

Initially I tot of buying Cat 3 ticket but the seat number available are those odd ones and the sistic guy happily show me that 1 seat in front, just 8 row from Hyde, so yeah, i took it without a blink and it didn't dissapoint, it's a really amazing and fun concert, they really threw plenty of fanservice that even V6 didn't throw that much, except for Okada and Ken LOL!

8 rows from Hyde! O.O That is amazing! Yup fun concert! Was telling my friends that I don't jump and perspire so much for V6 or Kamisen concert also. Quite different from JE concerts I feel!

Nice meeting you!
