I seriously hope they do this type of variety cum documentary more often, not just once a year kinda thing. It's really a good feeling to see them interacting with general public, not just be in the studio with the rest of celebrities, and they are good in doing this as well. The whole documentary becomes much more interesting.
So Arashi no Ashita Kakeru Tabi series this year started with Matsujun's and it's about veggies.
*note that my Japanese is limited so I may made some mistakes in interpreting what they said*

Before we even get to the topic, Aiba-chan made a remarks as if Matsujun was playing around with high school kids hehehe...
This documentary is on city of Kyoto.
My target trip destination next year! and What a wonderful season it is!
This is why I love strolling in Japanese market/supermarket. Look at the veggies, they're beautiful!!! and Nino approved!
Kintoki Ninjin (carrot). When you have it as the veggie stick, it goes well with wine. Where can I get this in Singapore? Fat chance eh? But I wanna try!!!!
That face never lies! I like to cap Matsujun's face whenever he said things are oishii because his eyes just sparkle every time he tastes something good and he'll look so happy and satisfied.
This scene is so funny because the carrot is crunchy. It made the sound when Jun bit it and then the uncle also bit it and Sho: communication? haha...
See? Look at his eyes! It says the whole thing!
This chili is Takakegami Tougarashi, according to Jun, it's SWEET! and not even spicy, which is why he can eat it just like that. And he even try to smuggle it out haha...
This will definitely become a pattern. After the VTR, especially when it's on food, Nino will question whether is it really that good.
Jun: You wanna eat?
Nino: I'm not saying that
But his expecting.... LOL
Off course Jun knew what his fellow members wanted!
Those dorks haha...
Those beautiful veggies are now in studio.
You calculative boy! Purposely took the part with the leaves so that you could make that remark, 'Like this, don't I look like a rabbit?'
But you're forgiven because you're cute LOL
Seriously dorky chipmunk face!
Sho: This looks like variety penalty game, ne?
eep on munching, yet you all still so skinny...
Take the cap because Sho-chan decides to troll coz Jun is covering him.
The next topic is about the agriculture high school that produce the same veggie presented in the previous topic.
And this is when the high school girl part comes in. Jun decided to give them hugs when they met up.
Side track: Aiba-chan look so pretty down there haha...
I like this girl. This is what a normal girl (I do too) will react after Jun hugged her.
And this is the 4 lucky girls and the stars of this episode. They are 3rd year high school student and worked on the field growing those carrots, spring onions and radishes.
Jun changed into the uniform and get the hands on experience!
The girls were happy. Why? Because Jun is wearing the same uniform as theirs. Cute!
The negi field! Look at them, HUGE! and the color! I'd like to try them!!!!
Ikemen... wearing farming suit and holding negi... and still look good! God is not fair hahhaa...
Look at the veggie, it look so so nice!!!!
This whole scene is so cute!!! They're selling veggie and they're supposed to harmonize, so one of them will say: 'Katsura KouKou no oyasai ikagadesuka?' then everybody will say 'Ikagadesuka~' (with the correct tone)
And they're circling around the neighborhood to sell the veggies. Not easy! These high school girls are hard working girls! And they're very passionate about the veggies too.
Jun just have to bring this topic out: 'Who's your favorite celebrities?'
'Mukai Osamu'
Me: LOL
Bitter Jun can't hide his disappointment hahaha...
Ah, this girl is an Arashi fan! Jun was quickly perked up and that morning she's listening to Jun's 'Yabai yabai yabai'
Happy Jun!
And off course, we all know the next question, 'who's the ichiban?' and it's Ohno haha....
Bitter and dorky Jun hahah...
and selling veggies activity lasts until dawn... wow...
Leader is expecting to eat again, but Sho make a remarks: and people watching (national TV) will say 'just now you've eaten...' LOL
Jun's trying Katsura Uri (Katsura gourd). It's not in season anymore so they have it preserved. Jun was very interested in the scent because it has melon scent.
And he keep saying that couple more times that it smells like melon. But how about the taste? Well, it's nothing like the smell, tasteless...
Due to the tasteless feature, the school made experiment and collaborated with neighborhood shops to create dishes from this veggie. And first, we have the cakes.
It looks nice too!!! Me wanna try!!!

See, again, his face doesn't lie when he said oishii

And now Katsura uri has a flavor! and it's nice! Jun approved!
Capping this because when it comes to documentary, the scenery is just...
And off course, Aiba-chan looks good here haha...

This traditional Japanese sweet shop turns Katsura Uri into syrup and use it for kakikori (shaved ice) dessert.

See, the approved face, again, the appreciation. Mecha mecha umai!!!
To show his appreciation, Jun offered to cook the negi for the students himself!

Jun looks good in apron and mecha kakkoii when cooking. And it's gotta be pasta! Let's cooking!
he menu is wafu pasta with negi, ume and some small anchovies (dunno the name and never heard before).
Sho: I've seen this drama before.
Me: LOL!!!

Damn! It looks good!

love the looks of the students here! They'll be eating Jun's cooking!
And have Jun serving them too! Gentle J!

These expressions speak for themselves.
And the DoS just have to praise himself LOL... so proud of himself.
The keyword for the next show: Hyaku nen saki mo kimi wo aisu yo
LOL... oh Sho-chan...

His trip is a love story... let's see
