spsnHmm... this drama doesn't look as light as I thought it would be, there are lots of background story, which makes it a drama in the first place! Interesting! Today's episode is not about school bullying, but it's about potentially child abuse. They didn't really show the abuse in action, it's more of implication, but from the screaming and crying, you can tell. More things yet to be revealed and more and more complex story and relationship to come.
I feel very tired after over 14 hours working for the past 2 days, and it'll be longer hours as well... and the thought that I have to work over the weekend as well... T__T
It all starts with a peaceful daily scene in our pretty bakery. Oh, Nozomi is now helping the guys! Good improvement!
Star bread of the day, choco bread. So, it doesn't have to be the exact bread name but can be by category as well. And, what a pretty choco korone.
Pretty baker with pretty bread is just something that screams out 'cap me, cap me!'.
The focus of the day, a brat called Kodama-kun. He comes alone to the bakery, takes all types of choco breads, 1 each, and happily say 'arigatou' and runs off with them. Thief!!!
And off course he got caught. What a chubby cheek!
When they interrogate him, the kid is very cooperative, but apparently his parents are not at home, so Hiroki is threatening to call the police because well, a thief is still a thief. That's when the kid change 180 degree, he literally begs and pleads for Hiroki not to call the police.
Our pretty baker is really nice, he packs the breads and gives it to the boy with a smile and even ask Nozomi to walk him home.
So we have Nozomi lecturing Kodama-kun as the big sister.
These stair cases looks so familiar... Gantz? Don't think it's Shinzanmono hehe...
Wow, the boy lives in a big house. So what actually happens?
Here's the mom, she looks normal until...
Nozomi tells her that Kodama-kun stole the bread. Mom panics and beg for forgiveness, and shove 10K yen to Nozomi as payment for the bread (it's only 900 plus yen). What freaks me out is after the door close, we can clearly hear Kodama-kun wailing and shouting for forgiveness and also the broken plates & glasses sounds.
Beautiful breads, oh so pretty!
I'll have lots of similar caps for the pretty baker plus pretty bread, but no regrets :p.
Now we have the regular customers... drunken ji-chans. These pretty bakers has good strategy in luring the customers to buy more bread. At first visit it's kare pan and now pretty bake introduces them to another bread, and I think this pattern will continue.
Guilt, guilt. Nozomi told him what happened (minus the screaming, I guess). Pretty baker insists of giving the change back to the mom. If you take a better look, Nozomi looks like... chibi version of Meisa?

Ah, another regular customer... he bought LOTS of breads, literally half the store maybe.
So, this customer is a one kind of hikkimori. He stayed in his room for days, and been living out of pretty baker's bread.
Seeing off their biggest customer... looking at those bulky shopping bags...
DELIVERY!!! Amazing, fresh bread delivered to your house by ikemen baker... me want! I'll be the regular customer, cross my heart!
Still feeling guilty ne...
So, it's the regular symptoms of domestic violance, after the abuse, it's the gomen ne episode..
Kodama-kun is a darling boy! I guess a child that age will have unconditional love towards his parents no matter how abusive they are.
Look at how cute this boy is... my heart sort of wailing over this scene...

This child perseveres a lot...
Eating bread alone and unaffected with another bitchy groupie try to get her into their side to go against the other bitchy groupie who bullied her in the first epi...
Returning money only to find out...
Kodama-kun out in the rain not being able to enter the house... (not opening my dictionary to understand better)... and instead he's playing with a frog and cat in the rain... so Nozomi took him back to the bakery like picking up a stray puppy... she's acting like a big sister here... d'awwww...
Off course at pretty bakery, any guests are welcomed!
Give this child the spoiling that he doesn't get at home...
Delivery starts... The service this bakery gives is on very personal level... I like! And those aunties, I bet they all will place order just to see pretty baker on their doorstep... yeah... LOL
What is this hikkimori doing day by day, and what's that schedule is for?
Quickly take the opportunity to place the first order and go back to what he's been doing...
OMG... CREEPY!!! and what's creepier is that after that lights went on, he said 'okaeri.' STALKER!!!

I like Takki, between split second I get 2 different expression. Aiba-chan since you stayed in his house for so long during your junior days, why no learn from this guy? huehehe...

Ah! Kodama-kun knows the bakery from the wife. She promised him that when the store is open, he can eat whatever bread he wants... so technically, he didn't steal the bread in the first place...

So the whole shop walk Kodama-kun home... but sadly, nobody's home, so he'll be alone tonight... T__T...
He lied to everybody that mom's home... T__T... look how sad he is... and I'm feeling for this kid... really...

Why Hiroki becomes the baker here? Hiroki has somebody he admires since junior high and she opens a bakery and he followed her, basically... love triangle?

I'm watching Doubles (can't resist ito hideaki LOL), Take five also good, matsuda shota's drama... not priority... Last Cinderella, not priority as well but you get to see topless Miura humping girls and randomly kissing girls as well XD, and oh Galileo (coz Yoshitaka Yuriko whining at eccentric ikemen professor is much more believable than awkward whining from Kou Shibasaki -- the reason why I didn't watch season 1) haha...
