First Glance on Summer Nude

spsnSummer is here! 来たよ! To mark the starting of the season, definitely we're here for the Summer Getsu9 and this year we're blessed with Yamapi's drama, Summer Nude. Like the previous year, summer is another season where I watch the least amount of drama so I kind of have my reservation on the current selection. However, I think Summer Nude will keep us entertain with the fast pace plot and summer love sparks.
A reminder for us... Getsu9 is the rabu rabu dorama where everybody is pretty (including the boys!) and everything is pretty (scenes, shots), so definitely your eyes will be pleased!
Beautiful Scenes, and it'll keep on coming at you. This is trully a summer drama!
Meet Asahi, our male lead who still can't forget his ex to the extend of greet her 'ohayo' in the morning and 'oyasumi' at night.
Meet the ex and she's in form of poster! I'd wonder when she'll come back to add the spice and stir the whirlpool of these youngsters!
Their first encounter... The girl is the bride and the boy is the cameraman... hmmm...
The gift from first encounter and who's the lucky girl who get to touch Yamapi's abs?
It's the 2nd girl, Hanae. She's been in love with Asahi for years. Will she get the love... chances is zero because this is getsu9, but there'll be some shippers out there who'll want alternative ending because the chemistry between these two is good!
What is he doing staring at the sea. Granted the sunset scene is damn nice! See, this drama is really full of prettiness. Summer prettiness.
What is summer without fireworks and wearing yukata? and we have the flashback of the couple... another pair to ship!
Another pretty scene!
The girl gets depressed after being deserted on her wedding (damn bastard! and his face looks familiar too).
Hold on... it's a reunion!!!!!! the best buddies from Sore wa, Totsuzen, Arashi no you ni... is back!
Karina sure is pretty, but who's prettier? The boy or the girl? LOL!!!!
Girl talk and guy talk, am sure there's a similar scene between those 2 boys at Sore wa, Totsuzen, Arashi no you ni...

The sea, it's so blue!
And we have a new shooting location, the restaurant where Natsuki will be working has been revived!
OMG, Johnny's tagging! The faction is now so obvious! So, will it mean for us to expect tagging between SMAP, Yamapi, Sexy Zone and Kisumai, always? Damn, I don't mind the first 3 but the last one... no... until they prove me being less annoying...
See? Convince to ship this pair? The chemistry here is also good.
OK, this means praying for sincere happiness (credit to Google translate LOL)... it's another nice scene, a way of Natsuki cheering Asahi. Come to think of it, both Asahi and Natsuki share the same pain, being left with the ones they loved.
But they're being together will hurt someone... will she fight for her Asahi?
Natsuki being teary from watching the DVD, Asahi took care and re-edit the DVD, se-no... 'Awwwwww, how sweet'
Second try to let go of her broken heart and move on, but is she ready?
I think I'll follow this drama. The pace is fast, as usual. No cliff hanger on Epi 1, but we see some juicy cut moments on the next week's preview. I find that the sea, beach, summer setting gives the relax and fun atmosphere for the whole cast. All of them looks relax and Yamapi doesn't seem to be trying too hard and as a result looks natural. Off course, I think having a good all round cast helps too. Lots of familiar faces, seriously... LOTS.
So, I can't wait for next week's episode and hopefully we'll see Yamapi surfing?
And off course, OST is 'Summer Nude 13' by Yamapi. It's a cover song with changes in arrangement to make it more light and less melancholic, but again, it's my opinion and I like the below performance!

yea it is typical summer getsu9...
to me the 1st episode was somehow reminding me beach boys..
and too much predictable things were happening..
but i love karina,and yamap is way better here than his previous two dramas..
waiting for episode 2...
and about the johnny's tagging..shori became taller!!
smap,yamap,sexy zone and kisumai are managed by the same person so this tagging is always like this..i want to see others jrs to tag with them too..and i completely agree with you about kisumai tagging..
