I still want to do Epi 15 because the mamachari episode is still very interesting and informative, but I just couldn't resist doing this episode first because Aiba + nature + camping is a must see episode! Again, I have to applaud the Manabu staff, they're good in combining what can be easily digest by audience and in what order, so it's so easy take away certain points from each episode and it'll stick in your head! This camping episode will be continued to the next one, well, actually the next one is the fun one XD, but still we get a short good education episode and a very noisy one too LOL...

Ararara, they change the uniform again, now it's boy scout uniform huehehe...


It's natsu yasumi, time for outdoor!


The camping site is located at Kanoto Park at Hinohara, Tokyo and wait the minute... who are these 2? Masaka???


Aiba-chan was not aware of the addition member and so did the rest haha... if the new additions can appeal themselves with their skill in camping, they can become member too haha...


So first, they need to build the tent, and it's going to rain soon... this scene is just a chaos because everybody is talking at the same time and try to figure out what to do first. Aiba-chan comment here... 'urusee...' (so noisy!) XD


How cute can he be? He's testing whether the rain has started XD...


Oops... they better start working, rain has started...


Let's get the professional help haha... and Aiba-chan seriously planting the wood nail, cuteness...


And finally the tent is ready...


BUT, when it's raining, don't stay inside the tent as there's a risk of lightning struck...


Lots of dangerous stuffs in the mountain, eg. bugs huehehe...


Arara... the leaves sensei is back!


Some of the edible leaves: Oobako (plantain). If the leave has no smell, it means it doesn't have taste too, so sensei takes out his miso stash LOL...


They start to taste oobako with miso too and...


Aiba-cha likes it!


There are leaves that you can't eat. Example, Shitaurutsu aka poison ivy, when touched you'll get rashes.


Another leaves that you can't eat is Kitsune no botan (fox melastome) because it's poisonous. You'll get rash upon touching.


And their leaves are similar to peony's leaves.


And the ones that we can eat are Kouzo aka Mulberry!


And Aiba-chan loves it!


You can also eat Hebi Ichigo.


So, Hebi ichigo, according to wiki, is named because they grow where usually snakes are around, hence the name. But the boys are too excited over the name hehe...


Taste? Not so much as Aiba made the same face as when his ... were hit by the rhino's backbone (I just watched that TSD clip yesterday LOL)...


Another grass that they can eat is Akamizu. I skip sensei's explanation, it has something to do with water hence the name and the root is red. So akamizu is nice if it's cooked like ohitashini (boiled spinach with soy sauce).


The boys look so curious. Even sensei can't stop eating XD.


Cuteness overload over pretty boy munching the akamizu like a rabbit... well, I wish I can cut Takeyama out of the pic LOL (I still can't get his image as abusive sex hunger IT CEO in Gekiryuu --> GOOD DRAMA, recommend to watch!)

What sensei thought as Mizuha... even sensei can miss too haha...

Now they change scene to the river...


Even when the water is this clear, it's better not to drink it straight


But now we have the portable water filter! So convenient!


Can you tell which one is Aiba-chan (hint: the flattest almost non existence one LOL)? I don't get why they need to bend down to drink. Can't the staff just give them a plastic glass? Oh wait, it's for our entertainment! LOL

Now we're in for some first aid lessons when on the river.
New member is volunteering as part of the appeal LOL...
Lesson 1: when it's raining, don't swim at the river


Lesson 2: when drifting, lean on the back with feet under the water (if i'm not mis-translate).


Lesson 3 Don't swim.


When you see people unconscious, don't shake them like what you see in drama (yeah, drama is not real!). Just tap them lightly saying 'are you allright?' and you see Aiba-ch


Then listen for sign of breathing and check for chest movement.


Full concentration!


Doing a CPR hand from the chest bone about 5cm and 1 minute is 100 times pushing (not very sure but that's what I get).


And we come to the last segment and the loudest one too!


It's the segment where the boys are oooohhh and aaaahhhh over latest camping goods.


The sensei from the tent building segment is back! We have glow in the dark light for our ice box, hmmm, how convenient.


I prefer 2-shot of Aiba-chan & Sawabe, they work well as a team and Sawabe is Aiba-chan bodyguard XD


Nothing new here, we have the same thing for our towel, and our face mask, but this time it's for wet tissue!
