spsnWhoa, after Geneten, now Ojamap is also doing ramen. The scary part of Ojamap is that the participants have to keep on eating until you hit the target, which in this case to spend 10,000Yen for ramen, and THAT'S A LOT as ramen is quite a cheap food from where it come from. This time, Shingo, Zakiyama and the guests will explore Koshu Kaido, the latest ramen street between Shinjuku and Hachioji.

He can do monomane on Shingo and really sokkuri!
Senpai loving his cute kouhai even though this is the first time they talk to each other... what happen to the past Bistro?
Shingo's faking that he's not good at eating ramen... excuse me? Shingo, what happen to all those ramen on the eating rice series?
Obviously either Kento-kun never watch this show or he don't know what he's in for or he's faking it, Kento-kun can eat about 5-6 bowls of ramen... we'll see about that kid huehehe...
First place, Menkoya. This place is quite popular. Their specialty is Tsukemen udon and they look delicious! Lots of the guests are having kare-udon, and they have natto udon too... Ahhh, I want to try this.
Startled reaction of seeing Shingo from the staffs and owners!
The Fried sliced pork, but the batter after fried is still white. It looks yummy too.
See? All look oh so yum!! Start clockwise, Kakejiru udon, Ebijiru udon, Nikujiru age udon, and Gomajiru udon (it comes with the spicy one too).
He's offering to eat the lady guest's share... not realizing what's waiting upon him?
This cheery cutesy look won't last long XD...
2nd place is the Hakatta Ramen Nagataya Souhonten. This one located closer to Sasazuka station, but I'd think it's still walkable from Shinjuku and it's located at the big road side.Their specialty is the Hakatta Kyuzu Tonkotsu Ramen.
Kento is quite confident of eating the Jigoku Ramen (Hell Ramen). hmmm, let's see how he fares XD.
Shingo will always likely to hold the big bowl... He's ready to gulp down everything in front of him...
So this is the Jugoku Ramen... Lots of chili, but... I don't think it's that spicy. It's spicy but still edible and I could imagine that it's good!!! I need to try this.
Kento's reaction? Huehehe... it's too hot for him... XD
Shingo being the DoS senpai, asking him to drink the soup too... XD
and taking over the eating... it's spicy but it's GOOD! So Shingo keeps on eating and he eats coolly that Zakiyama makes a remark that his reaction makes the rest's look fake hehehe....
3rd place, Ichi Maru Ichi. They're getting deeper aka farther from Shinjuku. This shop's specialty is on the chicken stock, so it's softer taste compare to tonkotsu. Shingo is good at picking where to go and they're giving variety to the audience... sasuga, pro!
Senpai training the kouhai! Basically Shingo is shoving Kento to talk to the shop owners to ask permission for shooting and this is not the last time he makes Kento do it.

Looking at the kouhai like a mom looking at her kid eating... d'awww... Kento like this because just now he eat the spicy ramen haha...
The shop's unique creation, tori paitan fondue. for this, they add cheese on the white stock (they add on soy milk). Taste? Shingo approve! It has the Bistro SMAP feel, coming from him, it definitely makes the owner proud! And what Kento says on this one? Kento Meccha fondue desu... LOL!!! Zakiyama and the lady guest (I can't remember her name, she's a model, right?) sure are having kicks by just watching Kento during the whole roke shooting.
4th place, Ramen Dai. The nearest station is Shimotakaido, and it's still quite a walk from the station judging from the map.
Again, Kento was asked to get the shooting permission XD.
He's getting better and the guy is not as scary as his look XD.
The shop menu is based on how much you want bean sprout on your ramen. The most bean sprout you can eat can be found is the mashi mashi aka double from what's on the pic above.
Shingo (staring at Kento): Can you eat?
Kento: eh? me? Everybody will eat the Mashi mashi, right? Ah, not everybody...
me: LOL!!!! Kento just realize what he'll be getting himself into and there's no way out!
Cannot see the noodle!!!! They're using the thicker noodle, which actually looks yummy, but not so yummy when you've eaten at least 3 bowls of noodles beforehand...
Trolling senpai: Can I have some? *Kento sees hope*

Zakiyama comments that Shingo's like lion's mom watching her pub... and his hair suits for the scenario.

5th shop Menya Sanichi. Shingo notices this shop because they have Miso Yaki Ramen from their menu. Looks good!
They ordered 2 dishes. the regular miso ramen in which Shingo eats the whole thing.

His face is really pleading that he'll cry at spot.
And Shingo notes that Kento is looking at him with the puppy dog eyes LOL...
The miso yaki ramen really look good. They make the 'yakisoba' with ramen and the miso stock. So, the noodles has absorbed the miso stock by the time the cooking's done.
Kento's comment: Meccha miso desu... hmmm... this sounds familiar, kouhai need to learn more for commenting on TV ne... he has lots of time to learn! Still 19 after all...
Kento's face... almost die... LOL
Shingo, after finishing his ramen, wants to wait in the car, which the whole team block the exit LOL... who's gonna eat if Shingo left? hahaha...
Pleading to the master... and he eats!!!!
And got standing ovation!

And Kento has to wake him up as they already reached their final destination!

Last place Takechan ni hoshi ramen. It's by Zakiyama's recommendation, and it's quite close to Chofu station. This ramen joint is currently run by the 2nd generation. The founder, Take-chan, just passed away 5 months ago. Their specialty is the double soup, mixed of tonkotsu and anchovies stock.
With the remaining budget, they ordered 1 bowl.
This ramen is so good that Shingo comments that it's that good that if 4 people who has been eating the ramen the whole day still can say that this ramen is good! Zakiyama is proud with his recommendation!
With this, they finish shooting and MEN (noodles, not the male species okie hehe) SAIKOU!
Hearing Shingo's comment, the 2nd generation says that this is the first time after he took over this job that he feels grateful. Yokatta ne...
