spsnVS Arashi is rarely interesting especially lately that I've been skipping fast forward & multitasking while watching it because the games are repetitive and if you've been watching it for years you sort of know whether Arashi will win or not based on who's the guest, who's the plus one and the type of games (yes, Arashi kinda sucks at certain game and play around at certain game too to control the score). To make it worse, now they take out MDA and turn it into the annual version, MMDA. I'd still prefer the weekly MDA where they blame each other or play dirty tricks, rather than trying to appeal anually via VTR (sure, we have interesting statistics data, but still... I'd prefer to have the raw blaming game, instead). Bet de Arashi is interesting at first, but I lost interest after the 2nd one, not sure why. The only interesting part from Bet de Arashi to me is Babanuki. The first babanuki is the best. I'd prefer Arashi alone play babanuki, instead of having guests participate. You can see a glimpse of their real character there, and it's much more amusing to watch.
So, what's interesting this time? Well, the SP has 2 section:
1. Usual game, with guest: Kanjani8
2. Babanuki game
Then? Why you should check out this episode?
1. After a loooonggg time, you get to see Arashi SERIOUSLY playing the games to win, and scared shit of losing because Yoko still pulling the old method to have VSKanjani if Arashi lost. You can see Arashi's faces flickered on seconds when Kanjani did well on dual curling, and after that, they started to be serious. Ha!
Look at the SCORE! and the time left! That's the real Arashi, folks!
I think the staffs are also worried that Arashi may lose so they put in the best climbers, Ohno & Matsujun, both can climb the Ago (chin) easily. You'd be impressed on how fast Ohno can actually climb!
Nino's in serious mode(!) to fortify the end score at GoroGoro Viking. Not once did he laugh during this game, and he even looked relief after it's over. Ha!
And have you ever seen Sho-chan stare like that while waiting for the score? Arashi is actually nervous with the result! Yes because they screwed up on by having two 0 goals on Kicking Snipper.
2. Everybody needs a vacation!
Ohno: Holiday is IMPORTANT!
And look at his performance during cliff climb!
This will be my wallpaper of the day because I was totally drained after today's workshop aka talking non-stop for 4 hours.
3. From Babanuki, we catch a glimpse of Aiba-chan's off guard moment.
Looking at this seriously make me feel like crying too. He was so serious and scared to be the last one for the 2nd time that he's not even trying to win. I think he may be frustrated because of it and becomes emotional. But this doesn't look like the usual professional Aiba-chan on TV. Something's wrong here (and I feel like a mother hen now LOL).
But don't worry Aiba-chan, you can be weak at babanuki (and seriously, don't try too hard on this one), but at least you're the CM king of the first half of FY14!!!
