Arashi Shiyagare 2015.03.07 episode

spsnIt's been awhile ne. Last week was a Juntoshi LA & LV trip. It's glorious, and fun (sleepy Ohno is a must see). But what about this week? For the caps, I'm going to skip the Gundam segment, though I like the guest, but I'm not familiar with the 1st generation Gundam so I cannot really related to what they're talking about. This episode also shows how good is the editing skill of Shiyagare staff. I've been noticing this since their Hawaii trip segment. What makes the segment funny is the narration and the caps. This is very apparent on Matsujun's segment (the 'feeling' and J's choise placement were damn epic). Having Arashi being dorky is a bonus, and I'd think it's quite low budget as well because they just send a few staff plus 1 or 2 Arashi members out there and have fun with it.
Whatdisaster vacation actually awaits these 2 LOL...
First is Sakurai 'Hard Schedule' Sho! And his 'vacation started at 5.55am (how is this a vacation?)
What's his plan? Sho-chan wanted to go to Abi & Iwate... what???
What awaits them was... blizzard! Sho-chan quickly called the ski facility and was told that though the lift is working but not the cable car.
So that means they'd hope for a miracle to be able to ski. Indeed it's a bad wheather that day. But did it stop Sho-chan?
Sho-chan: This is Ana Yuki (FROZEN).
Hence, we'd here so often the Let It Go song being played LOL
But amazingly, the miracle did arrive and the wheather cleared up! Sho-chan quickly get his ski gear and went out.
The high tension Sho-chan will have his first ski-ing action taken for TV, whoot! and off he went!
What about the AD who supposed to take the ski-ing scene? The AD used snowboard and fell LOL
The AD (his name is Kawaguchi, the same AD who took Sho-chan's Hawaii vacation too!) was nervous (this is one of those moments when I went 'what a good editing') as the whether turned bad again.
But, again, it cleared up again!
Not repeating the same mistake, now AD stayed on the below and shoot Sho-chan ski-ing from the top. and, ski-ing scene, checked! Sho-chan looked kakkoii too!
And they didn't forget to take a shot at this dorky face too!
From Abi, Sho-chan (who snoozed in the taxi) went to onsen too. His schedule was really thoroughly calculated!
The taxi couldn't get through the heavy snow as it's dangerous. Hence, Sho-chan decided to WALK in that pile of snow... for 500m. As per Sho-chan's request, the staff use 'Let It Go' as the BGM and with great editing we get Sho-chan's snowy journey to the onsen.
And the song ended with the irony LOL. The song lyrics ended with 'Sukoshi mo samukunai wa' (not cold at all) and we have Sho-chan whining 'SAMUI!', Very clever!
They did reached the Onsen, and Sho-chan quickly crushed AD's hope to get some bonus for us. Well, he's not Aiba-chan ne?
When soaking, Sho-chan's saying something like nobody else went to onsen at such time and the staff added the caps 'only you.' LOL
The snow quickly started to fall and Sho-chan hesitateingly 'shall we go back?' haha...
From Onsen, Sho-chan rode on Shinkansen to Sendai to have...
This wonderful gyutan! This really looks bloody good!
And Sho-chan's face testified its goodness.
Sho-chan smugly recalled what the ski staff said when the wheather cleared up 'Star is different ne'
And his segment was ended with a senryuu 'Blizzard, clearing up is really a miracle, ne.' The end.
Next is Aiba-chan's "vacation" segment. For this one, I really question the meaning of vacation haha.
Just like Sho-chan, it started early, at 6am.
But wait, this is different, why we have Aiba-chan sleeping with Ikoma-D in the same blanket LOL
and then when Ikoma-D woke him up...
Aiba-chan: Why you?
LOL this sleepy face... it never changes!
Especially this face
Why Aiba-chan ended up in that state? Let's backtrack with narration
At 2am Aiba-chan was cheerfully assambled at the hotel in Chiba.
The goal is to fish for Ise Ebi (that yummy lobster) but was told that there's no Ise ebi now due to the wheather. What they can fish is Isaki. No matter, whatever is OK!
And they use Enya as the BGM... seriously, the staff are just GOLD!
But unfortunately they didn't get anything that day and per the uncle suggestion, they'd go for a 'walk'.
Guess, this is what happened when the Location shooting went wrong (they cannot predict that they'll always get the fish) so the strolling at Chiba segment that we have now is the plan B.
Since hotel is closed, Aiba-chan stayed at uncle's house (by that time it's 4am already) and hence the result LOL.
Aiba-chan is the same as all of us... '5 more minutes'!
But unfortunately none of us looks this cute when we do that... sigh...
Finally awake and ready to drive!
Some of the conversation they had is 'when we talk about Chiba, it's peanuts. But it's not only peanuts!'
So the segment becomes Don't underestimate Chiba segment haha..
First we have strawberry picking, both white and dark strawberry.
Btw, Rakka-sei literally means peanut LOL
Aiba-chan munching strawberry is a must cap.
Our uncle in this segment is really cute!
Hence, we have the strawberry feeding and Aiba-chan said he got a taste of uncle's hand. Oh Aiba-chan, your comments are always gold!
Next is horse riding. Don't underestimate Chiba's horse! Rakka-sei!
Per Aiba-chan's singing, we have the real song as the BGM, 'umi yo~ ore no umi yo~'
I like the caps that the staff put, 'having fun riding horse with the uncle that he just met... that's Aiba'
It is Aiba-chan. Only him can pull off something like this and make it an enjoyable segment.
So after strawberry picking and horse riding, the boy and uncle need to eat. Aiba-chan wanted to eat hamaguri (a type of clam) and the uncle is directing him to the shop.
The aunties in the shop were in for a surprise and there's always a fangirl in every women's heart hehe...
Grilled hamaguri and beer! Rakka-sei!

And they end the segment with ONSEN. So typical of Aiba-chan! By now Aiba-chan has bonded with the uncle LOL!
Chiba Saikou! And uncle's son just passed his school entrance exam! Omedetou!
After the shooting done. Uncle was like 'this is just like a dream. Right now the actual feeling is pouring in'
D'awww this uncle is really cute!
