spsn | GACKT and Arashi...

I managed to get rid of I FOR YOU from my brain, but instead my brain decided to latch on to another song, FLOWER by GACKT. This song is so addicting and there're so many versions and arrangements, which makes it interesting to listen to. Well, to top it up, GACKT is an amazing performance artist, and hail Youtube for having so many clips on GACKT's concerts, wish it's the same for Johnny's stuff, but we all know Johnny's is ... Johnny's. But the interesting part is that he also can be funny in his variety show persona. His variety show image change slightly throughout the years (yeah, I've consumed enough clips from 2000 to 2015), but he knows what he's doing and I find that he smartly calculates whatever he says on TV. With that, to me GACKT is very mainstream LOL.

So, what GACKT gotta do with Arashi? If you've been following Arashi long enough, you'll definitely know those golden VS Arashi and the Shiyagare episodes. I still remember how much I laughed when I watched it the first time and the laughter didn't die down when I rewatch it again. And since I'm quite stressed out in the past few days, this post is kind of my therapy and there're tons of caps (I try to reduce them down though).
It's always interesting from these 4 episodes how Arashi turns into cute puppies (even Matsujun with his DoS persona) and flogging around the aniki. And GACKT seems to have some favorites among Arashi, and it's changing throughout the years too LOL.

Do you still remember there was a time when VSA is just a 30 minutes show and there's no plus one? We still have falling pipe!

The guests in this episode is GACT and the national handball player, Miyazaki Daisuke. Apparently these 2 were good friends, a very odd combination.
Nino is forever a brat. Quickly to proclaim that the guest can just go ahead and win.

Matsujun seeing what GACKT wore questioned him whether GACKT ever watch VSA before.
GACKT: No
So straightforward that it's so funny.

And everybody points out what he wore and the pointy boots... Sho-chan concludes that it's because GACKT has no plan to move. Well, on the contrary, he actually moves more than some of the Arashi, and put up a good fight with Arashi.

Highlights: those rare moments when Aiba-chan hit perfect double catch! Look on how happy this boy was.

Who ever forget the sukebe Sho-chan that even GACKT was concerned over Arashi's image, LOL.

I love this episode as Arashi doesn't seem to control much of the games, and both guests and Arashi are having so much fun. Good times!

Within the same year, GACKT appeared again! Well, that's fast! By now VSA has become a 1 hour show and the format changed to what we have now. So, GACKT came as Plus One guest, and he didn't dissapoint in entertaining us <3

GACKT would prefer to date Matsujun than the female comedians. Yes, so sexist but the man has his preference and he's not trying to hide it, which is endearing and entertaining.

We still have macho-kun and it's modeled after GACKT complete with the sunglasses, cool! I wonder who they commissioned to build this macho-kun every week, it's not easy!

This is the start of what come next... after rounds and rounds of falling pipe. What kind of service that Ohno expected from a female comedian?

And this saga will also continue to the next round. It's started when GACKT put down his rings to participate on Falling Pipe.

Arashi were like little boys found a new toy, a coveted new toy LOL! Even Matsujun was admiring the rings LOL

Ohno talked A LOT in this episode LOL. Maybe he's so psyched that that day was his birthday :). GACKT kept on warning the boys to put the rings down. And Ohno started to suggest can he had the rings if GACKT didn't manage to catch the pipes LOL.

So, it's down to 'the service' GACKT provides aka FAN SERVICE.
And Haruna was the lucky girl getting the special fan service!

Sho fail #1. No words needed.

Sho fail #2. He didn't meet the star miracle expectation set by GACKT LOL.

The little boys again, playing with the rings. And the owner exparatedly trying to stop them LOL.

Ohno again, 'for my birthday'. and GACKT 'that's why I don't want to take off the rings' LOL

When GACKT didn't get the red pin... LOL!!!

But GACKT did gave Ohno 1 ring!!!

This is one of my favorites aniki segment from the first installment of Shiyagare show. Arashi here were really cute and adorable boys. And somebody was being so mischievous here and happily laughed at his victim.

They actually guessed who's the aniki correctly at first attempt, but they kept on degressing LOL

At this period of time, we have a running gag where there's always only 4 gifts and Ohno was always the only one end up without the gift.

Since he didn't get the nail buffer, hebuffed his nail with his other nails LOL.

GACKT pulled off a quite mean prank on Ohno that I for 1 second felt sorry for him LOL.
His heartbeat must went up when GACKT ran that shaver over his head.

Thanks to GACKT we have these gluttons happily put the cream puffs over their mouth without listening to Aniki's next instruction.

And we now know how to eat creampuff and still look sexy LOL

Arashi level of enthu was quite high in here :)

They cheaply recreate GACKT's red sports car and Ohno is the lucky one got picked to play as his girlfriend. This makes me think looking at the chronology that GACKT starts to notice other members than Matsujun after the last VSA. A girl is free to use her imagination, ha!

While GACKT kept his body fat at 6% for concert, Arashi is satisfied with just at 12%
Well, even 12$ is already amazing (according to my standard) LOL

Then somebody innocently ask Sho-chan to do more just because 'watching it from this angle is really funny'

And he's so happy to see the fail!

And quickly that naughty boy pointed another victim for his fun and this time it's Matsujun.

Matsujun off course fail miserably, well, there's no meaning to clap and grab the machine again LOL

And the same boy quickly shoved Nino to do what Nino hates the most LOL

And the rest bully the MC and GACKT was so strong to hold him with just 1 arm like that, sasuga!

Eating time is nabe. YUMMY. and GACKT asked funky girls to bring in the 'negi' (spring onion).

At around the same year, GACKT has been showcasing this mountain of chilis on his nabe, not only in AniShi. And he got a kick of making the host to eat this with him.
