Yesterday's music station will probably be my favorite Arashi performance in 2015. And with the extra cuteness of Arashi being the senpai. I find that the senpai-kouhai interaction now is much better compared to the Arashi ni Shiyagare episode that featured HSJ awhile ago. Arashi used to be very good at being the adorable kouhai but now we get to see that they can be good senpai too. And Johnny's finally you're doing something with HSJ eh?
Back to the M-ste, I wonder whether the segment on regular people who can sing slaps all idols (except whose who're really good in singing) on the face, I mean, those people can sing better than so many Johnny's & AKB put together LOL. But it's fun to watch this segment though, but I hope they won't have this too often as diminishing rule applies here.

This M-Ste is about Matsujun with 1001 expression

Mini-Ste, we have off course Arashi & HSJ on.

Takaki talked about having dinner w/ Aiba-chan & seemed that Aiba-chan arrived 10 minutes before the said appointed time, meaning Takaki arrived after Aiba-chan. Takaki asked how much early he should be arriving.
Aiba-chan: well if I made appointment with a senpai, he'll reach 1 hour earlier and prepare for senpai's arrival (eg cleaning the table) LOL
Considering senpai-kouhai relationship is still quite strict, I think Aiba-chan follows the old rule (seriously, he sounds like a salaryman here), but he doesn't really mind whether his kouhais follow the same old rules.
As there're lots Takas in Johnny's, what about the comedians called Taka, and they did call one.
To Aiba-chan's defense, he thought the more the merrier. Typical Aiba-chan.

Then they talked about the Arashi Medley and on the backflip. HSJ was asked to comment on this.
Yamada: Well, I don't have the image of Arashi doing backflip and I've never seen them doing it until the rehearsal and it's cool
Nino nodded with approval towards his kouhais admiration... TROLL!!!
Hint: any synchronized backflip is cool, seriously, the timing etc and the risk is nerve wrecking.
Matsujun made declaration though that he and Sho-chan WILL NOT do any backflips.

Arioka talked about Matsujun went to see HSJ concert (anybody saw that papapic? MJ looked more like auditing HSJ concert than watching LOL) and they went to have dinner afterwards. Then it's about the love affair between Matsujun and Montblanc, how he was smiling ear to ear when the montblanc came and finished the whole thing by himself.

Hikaru has been texting with Ohno, and it's a quite rare tidbits considering that Riidaa doesn't really do the same with the rest of Arashi members.
What do they talk about in their text messages? Bruce Lee movies appreciation.
Something different coming from Ohno.. interesting.

Inou added that the rest looks like having fun exchanging messages, but he doesn't even know any of the Arashi members' contact numbers.
He had a chanse to ask Sho-chan in one ocassion together with Okamoto, but he ended up didn't hear it and felt hurt. Poor boy.
Sho-chan: you should just ask
Inou: Can I just ask?
Sho-chan: it's OK
Inou: Thanks, then later after this...
Sho-chan: 010...
LOL!!! I see the interation is less awkward here and I'm happy to see this XD.

Matsujun being the boss here knows all HSJ contact numbers... wow, I'm impressed.
Arioka: not me though
LOL oh Arioka..
Tamori: Do Arashi listen to HSJ songs?
Matsujun: Since I went to HSJ concert, I went to get the album and listen to the songs. I also got all the single versions and listen to all. And I sound like HSJ fan. Today I'm looking forward to the performance.
Whoaa... so, we'll see Matsujun producing HSJ concerts soon???? Sounds like it to me!

We now have Arashi spokespeople (Matsujun & Sho-chan) explaining the concept of Japonism and what they requested Hotei-san for the song's concept. So, Matsujun & Sho-chan had LOTS of input for the album. Good to hear this!
Sho-chan explained that this time the album theme is the festival of origin and they thought of doing it Johnny's style, and what is like Japanese and what is Japanese if it's being perseived from the outside. With that they requested Hotei-san whether this can be done.
So Nihon yoi toko makafushigi was Shounentai's Kamen Butoukai single coupling song. Matsujun further explain that when we combine Japan & Johnny's together (it's not direct translation, but I feel that this is the best describe what Matsujun was saying), this song gives a strong impression.
Tamori commented that the dance is 'violant'. Everybody agreed to it and Matsujun emphasized that Shounentai is awesome.
For those who'd like to know the original performance, Youtube has it! Hail Youtube! --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-ZZfnThNpk
Honestly, when I saw the Shounentai performance I kept on thinking how on earth Arashi going to pull off this song? So many backflips!! Though lots of moves are Johnny's typical moves but they're done in very very fast and I never see Arashi dance up to that kind of speed. So I have my doubts, especially on whether they'll keep the original choreography LOL.

Arashi time!!!

As usual, beautiful sets! The traditional Japanese set for Kokoro no Sora and the more funky (but much more modern) set for Nihon yoi toko makafushigi.

Fierce Matsujun!

Ohno's face in the end said it all.
A tad sad that they cut Aiba-chan solo dance (the part where he does a lot of things in a short time) and Sho-chan's rap, but Nihon yoi toko makafushigi performance is awesome! Respect to Arashi to keep almost 100% of the original choreography! And I hope Nino didn't hurt his back doing that many backflips, and synchronized too. The only thing that they didn't do is the ending acrobatic movement, which is totally understandable (leave it to ABC-Z for that). The entertaining part for me is Sho-chan tried his best to keep up with the rest, and Aiba-chan excels in any dance involving standard basic Johnny's moves that requires sheer energy.
Look forward to the concert!!! MR FUNK especially <3
