Doing this because it's Matsujun and somehow they've been doing Tsukiji roke... is it because Tsukiji is going to move in November this year? Anyway, am so happy that Matsujun again shows us the cute side of him, and it reminds me again, how much he has changed, for the better. I guess age does has relationship with confidence level, at least for Matsujun :).
Considering the last time I watched Abunai Yakai was quite some times ago... they've changed the segments again. Now they have guests put out requests, then the staff work it out... somehow, no more of that small pop up door. I'm quite indifferent about this, but anyway, Yakai is highly dependant on who's the guest, so as long as the segment is fun to watch, it's not a problem for me.
I only cap segments related to Matsujun. Kuroki Hitomi's segment is on the cafe whereby you're paired with a guy (the guy pay higher fee and with time limit). It's an interesting way to meet people provided that people are quite honest and with no ulterior motive. I think Sho-chan's quite intrigued with the last dude that he imitated his way of speaking LOL.
Today's guests are Kuroki Hitomi and the DoS Matsujun
Sho-chan asked the highschool girl (I totally didn't catch all those on the backrow's names), as she's still 18 what Matsujun feels like for her.
So, from primary school time, she already had impression that Arashi was a big star, which sort of translated to 'God.'
Arioshi's first check is whether how is the relationship between these 2?
Matsujun: not bad (simple and crisp)
Sho-chan felt the need to be convincing that both of them went for drinks before (when was it again?) hehehe...
Then Arioshi probed deeper: In Arashi, who'll be more suited with you?

Matsujun made a claim that he's been watching the show and noticed the staff in this show is weird, he mentioned something like what's said before & after was different.

This is the first time Matsujun really properly go to Tsukiji.
And now he has to look for the gourmet king that they've booked to accompany him for this segment, and Matsujun just happily passed him by LOL.

So, Watabe's plan to find the best sushi place in Tsukiji is by asking people around. Matsujun did asked whether it's the same as the internet anyway. Watabe refused that notion and it's best to get the information from people in Tsukiji itself, and he's aiming for 100 people.

So it's settled that they're going to ask 100 people in Tsukiji to recommend a sushi place. And by the way, Matsujun's next job is at noon.
So they only have 4.5 hours. Watabe sort of complained that Tsukiji starts from 4am not from 7am LOL.
So they started random. First Matsujun asked the ladies working at kaisendon place. The first girl never eat raw things (aka sushi). The 2nd girl just started living in Tokyo recently. LOL. FAIL.
Matsujun: dameda (can't, literally).
The second encountered was obviously fans. After the 'yabai yabai' and they started to calm down.
Matsujun asked the same question. Both girls were from Kumamoto and they're also looking for sushi place. They found a place but couldn't remember the name, unfortunately.
Matsujun asked the girls whether they know Watanabe. The girl: Unjust.
Watabe: that's a very low tension.

Uncle didn't recognize Matsujun and just shoved him away LOL. It's quite scary that he didn't even slow down XD.
They tried to ask from shop owners but didn't get anything. Why is that? it's because they couldn't say it as they don't want to offend their 'friends'. Totally understandable, for a close knit community, especially those selling similar things, this is a sensitive topic.
So, after 1 hour, they have ZERO information. But did Watabe-san worry?
Not really, he found a croissant shop and asked whether they've opened. The croissant will be done in 5 minutes and Watabe-san insisted of stopping at this shop and even asked the cameraman to film the oven fuming w/ croissants.
When staff showed resistance in stopping in this shop, because it's not a SUSHI shop,
Watabe: How can you just walk away after you FILMED inside their shop?
LOL, omg, nice tactic! sasuga seasoned gourmet reporter.
It didn't disappoint! look at those gems! Anko filled croissants! And they look so fluffy!!!
Okay, Matsujun didn't look his best here, but it shows how good those croissants are!
And they bumped into other show's from TokyoTV also doing a roke.
After getting the clearance from each TV station producers, they asked the question.
Now I don't know who are these 2 (I saw the guy plenty of time and think he's Watabe group mate, is he?)
The lady suggesting Sushidai while the guy suggesting Sushizanmai.
Well at least they got information from 2 pax.
And by that time there're so many people watching.
Slowly but sure, they started to get more people talking and after 2 hours, at 9.30am...
they only got 20 people and Watabe looked possitive saying it's 1/5.

So Watabe came up with an idea of caling up some help from Tsukiji's strongest person.
Matsujun: you should have said so earlier
And they really went and asked the owner of another sushi place LOL.
Matsujun really crafted the question carefully not to offend this owner. The answer is Sushisei. (not sure if I get the pronounciation correct).
It's this shop, been around for 127 years, and it's currently on top of the chart.
Watabe: which one is better, Sushisei or Sushizanmai?
Owner: Sushizanmai has this good character

Then they bumped into currently on the 3rd spot, Sushitomi. It's owned by maguro shop.
When the shop in front of them and they're checking whether it's full.
Then Watabe assigned Matsujun to ask for TV shooting permission, and this is Matsujun's first time doing this.
So, in the shop, after Matsujun ask whether it's OK to do the shooting, the shop lady: Tenchou (the shop manager), it's Matsujun.

And he got an OK.
So the first sushi is the recommended maguro sushi...
obviously...
Watabe warned Matsujun that the shooting is not finishing here aka they still have other place to eat.
And Matsujun did eat A LOT here, particularly the kohada and anago, his favorite.
It's 3300Yen for that set, that's considerably cheap! As both Watabe and Matsujun agreed on.
Watabe asked whether this is a place where Matsujun can bring Sato Koichi for the sushi shop presentation. Matsujun was pretty pleased with the place and considering the size and all.
The staff reminded the grim fact that it's almost the time limit at 11am and they're only halfway done aka 50 pax.
So, what to do, Matsujun?
They opted for making all the staff do the surveying. Each of them asking 5 people.
And in a flash they have the data. Otsukare.
Impressively Sushisei still on top out of 106 pax vote.
So, at 25minutes before the limit they went to the place and it looked full!
Matsujun went and asked for the permission and get a No. But they're allowed to get bentou instead.
So Matsujun carrying around the sushi bentou box but nowhere to sit...
Matsujun: how about eating at the roke buss?
But Watabe thought it's a waste that they're eating #1 sushi standing or at roke buss...
Looking around, Watabe noticed something, and shared his plan. He's going to ask soba shop whether they can eat sushi there LOL!!!
Matsujun was really kind of scared with Watabe's plan LOL. But Watabe was confident!
Watabe knew the place because he went to this shop for Hirunandesu (another different show).
Matsujun: if it's a no, it's not cool, no?
Watabe: In the first place, we'll tell them that we'll eat the sushi first at soba shop. If it's a no, off course we'll walk away, ne.
And Watabe got an OK!
Matsujun: so what's the reason?
Watabe: I was told Sekai no Watabe-san (I guess the owner recognized Watabe-san and liked him?) and I'm also half surprised at that.
So, they get to eat this!, looks yum!! OMG!

After the umai umai, Staff-san made a remark that they wanted to hear Matsujun making a comment after eating the sushi, which is true because all he said so far is just umai umai.
So, Watabe challanged him to do a gourmet reporter commentary on Matsujun's favorite, anago.

And what he came up with: un, umai. It's close to the one i always have.

In particularly at concerts, which one is the coolest thing that Matsujun has said to fans.
