Miss Sherlock Epi 1-2
May. 24th, 2018 08:19 pmPimping this drama because I'm so biased of Takeuchi Yuuko, but that besides the point. I have been waiting for this drama despite any apprehension deep down as this is like you know... the Japanese take of Sherlock drama. But as J-drama watcher, this drama doesn't disappoint at all. The mystery is interesting, the deduction is easy to follow especially for me who got confused watching Poirot in the past. Most of all, Sherlock is so cool, it's like I almost forgive TV station for not continuing Strawberry Night franchise, well... ALMOST.
Who would have thought, dandy Miss Sherlock with her 9cm THIN heels skipping around (yes she skipped in those heels, refer to episode 1) and all her antics will be so interesting to watch. Paired with Wato (as if it's a pun for Watson), who looks completely the opposite of Sherlock with her plain comfy girl next door look, the duo met in a very unexpected way and unexpectedly Wato ended up freeloading in Sherlock's pad (I'd call it a bachelorette pad, more fitting).
If Strawberry Night's Red Birkin bag is any indication, then Hermes is like the product placement for Miss Sherlock, ha!
This trailer is the less revealing trailer thus far, the rest... too much info LOL. Definitely a drama worth my time. Considering I lost interest in watching Seigi no Se (as much as I love Yoshitaka Yuriko, the whole concept just not enough to make me glued to my screen, yes that includes the pretty Miura Shohei).
One thing though, it seems that nobody in this drama like to wear GLOVES in the crime scenes... that includes the detectives. But oh well...
