Another fun episode from Ojamap... here they have another 4 guests to help them eat the huge bucket of rice till finish, it's freaking huge. Correct me if I'm wrong, I think the location shooting for this was the food street on the way to Ise Jingu on Mie perfecture.

Agan, this episode again shows... SHINGO CAN EAT... A LOT LOL...


We're starting and I like Mokomichi's hair here. And he's freaking tall, even Shingo looked chibi compare to him, how can it be?


So they just begin, and Shingo already on the 2nd bowl and soft ice cream! It's not soft ice cream, sorry, it's momo shorbet LOL!!!


Mokomichi too eager to eat his fish cake...


There's a fangirl in every women's heart... this auntie was busy fangirling on...these 2 hehehe...


Off course when you eat your oyster, you just gotta have your biiru! and got caught but fear not...


Using national idol status, he can change the situation from black to white LOL chanting audience to call out 'he's not drinking' LOL


And play AD hehehe...


People are too busy with their udon, what about the rice??? LOL


Here, Shingo was really quiet, he's so busy shooting for Milky..


Ignoring what his colleagues are doing, happily collecting those Milky candies... for?


And national idol status went up! Moms and kids can brag they got the Milky from SMAP's Katori Shingo (not bought, but got from the shooting game), sasuga national idol!


And plotting with obaa-chan on a failed gag hehe...


and by now he's on the 8th!


They always push Shingo to go in first on this kind of situation, chances are they got what they want! hehehe...

This girl is really cute! Maybe not once in her life she thought she'll meet Katori Shingo.


Otou-san also confused being barged in by huge Shingo and this is not TV LOL...

And Shingo, the awabi served was not enough, he also ate those that Mokomichi made for the ladies XD!

Winner, off course Shingo, followed by Mokomichi... big guys eat a lot huh? But Shingo also eat other stuffs too!

I notice he talks less whenever they have the food show on Ojamap or SmaStation and concentrate on eating more, so throughout episode you'll see him munching and munching and not getting fat (coz people's job is not sitting in front of computer the whole day).



Last note, what's great about this show is that you get to see a national idol interacting with general public, making aunties & grandmas happy, while giving you entertainment. You can see the way Shingo interact with public different from the rest. That's what making it heartwarming and get SMAP more general public recognition.

I think this is what Arashi should do something like this too if people keep on complaining Arashi doesn't get enough general public recognition. Just send Aiba-chan or Matsujun on weekly gourmet trip or something and have them interact w/ ojii-chan & obaa-chan, not just confine them in a studio with models and comedians and getting location shooting where ALL other shops are closed doesn't count... it's getting boring (look at the Shiyagare backlog... sigh...)

They did do Mago Mago Arashi, and the earlier Shukudai kun, when they were less famous.

I think they can't really do this now because the fan girls would mob them everywhere, and they'd have to spend their time running away.

I remember when they did go out and meet the obaasans and ojii sans. In fact it was watching them on Mago Mago Arashi that made me fall in love with them all the more.

yeah n that's y me wan new season of mago mago lol, i knowww, asking too much n chances is zero coz god knows what can happen w the obaachan n ojiichan after shooting, being swarmed by fangirls... fangirls can be scary haaaa

i just finished watching nino's part in arashi no asuni kakeru tabi..it makes me remember mma and earlier shukudai kun episodes as well..maybe for now they only can interact normal people in rural village or small city only in order not get swamped by fans XD

yeah i dont mind they go rural coz u get to see whats not metropolitan of japan, afterall, japan has great nature scenery and so on, and it'll be a trwat for those ppl outside city area to, like aiba's visit to oknawa etc, off coz they cant doit so often, but its nice to see that hapen more often hhehe

work is tough but i'm hanging there, ganbare, ou!!!
