In this episode we have Nino doing PPAP (which I just can't unsee, I wish I could rewind the time I spent watching this, ugh), Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (only the shiritori segment actually caught my attention), and... This is MJ! First female guest and... she slayed MJ LOL!!! MJ was actually hyper and cute in this segment <3. Anyhoo, enjoy the segment, tried to cut short the caps, but alas...

you cannot unsee this, right?
Again... LONG caps )

Bonus )

I still have 1 Manabu post to be posted in this 2016, cross finger I can finish it on time.

It's been... almost ONE year since the last time I did this kind of recaps LOL...

I have mixed feeling about this segment, it's funny, I mean GACKT with Arashi is always adorbs and entertaining, but particularly with the medicine ball segment, I can't help but worry. If you saw GACKT IG acount, you'll know the medicine ball exercise because he posted some clips on it and it's damn hard, even for those who have that rigorous training regime regularly. So imagine if you're not so-called trained with that kind of spartan training menu, and people drop that medicine ball on your tummy, especially Aiba-chan's part, I can't help but worry about the potential injurIES that may happen, ranging from muscle inflamation to slipped disk (you use your back, which you're not supposed to, instead of your core muscle, to hold that ball). And you can even see Matsujun, the so-called most fit in Arashi, struggled, so you can imagine the rest. Enough of the rant and back to the whole segment itself, basically there're 3 parts of it, first is the random (literally random) quetions thrown at GACKT, then it's that training segment, and lastly it's the crane game.

As usual, LONG caps... )

This has officially become my cure of harem drama, but with a hefty cost, my tummy... OMG my tummy... it's screaming for food everytime I watch this, and I blame this on Eric!!! His cooking skills is no joke (though it looks slow and it has become a running joke on the show, but I'd be slow too if you have to cook in stations and with minimal gadget and to be frank the stove and the prep space is not made for efficiency LOL) and I feel so much lacking in cooking skills (and I cook a lot) when I saw him cook on this show. I know Eric can cook from Shinhwa Broadcast, but this show seems to showcase his true skills, and it's a joy to see. His cooking style is very close to mine, no measuring, based on tasting, and he makes things look easy. For example, I have fear of trying to cook jjapchae (it's bloody expensive in restaurant, and I always thought this dish is so difficult to make), but after I saw Eric doing it... hey, wait a minute, it's not that complicated, and his version looks so doable. So I'm going to try it one of these days (after I bought the ingredients, and Korean pantry is a totally different pantry from Japanese or Indonesian, sigh).

And to think on the next episode, they're gonna have sashimi party... OMG....

PS. I wonder how Eric will cope with this variety or how they're going to schedule the filming when Shinhwa start promoting next month...

Doing this because it's Matsujun and somehow they've been doing Tsukiji roke... is it because Tsukiji is going to move in November this year? Anyway, am so happy that Matsujun again shows us the cute side of him, and it reminds me again, how much he has changed, for the better. I guess age does has relationship with confidence level, at least for Matsujun :).
Considering the last time I watched Abunai Yakai was quite some times ago... they've changed the segments again. Now they have guests put out requests, then the staff work it out... somehow, no more of that small pop up door. I'm quite indifferent about this, but anyway, Yakai is highly dependant on who's the guest, so as long as the segment is fun to watch, it's not a problem for me.

I only cap segments related to Matsujun. Kuroki Hitomi's segment is on the cafe whereby you're paired with a guy (the guy pay higher fee and with time limit). It's an interesting way to meet people provided that people are quite honest and with no ulterior motive. I think Sho-chan's quite intrigued with the last dude that he imitated his way of speaking LOL.

Very long caps ahead... I always take more than I should have... )
spsn: (Default)
This is MJ is probably one of those segments where Matsujun can be so cool yet so dorky at the same time, and that includes sulking, whining and just being a diva. This time, he got a rival, the equally dorky Ikuta Toma, which is why I can't resis doing this cap.

Well, you can say that this is the reason why the episode is gold LOL.
Trying very hard not to cap too much dorkiness here.. )

We have V6 members appearing on Abunai Yakai again and again! We're left with Inocchi & Morita, and I hope Morita would appear next year to promote his movie *cross fingers*. Not sure if Inocchi will get to appear here to promote Kouhaku (well, it's different TV station, but, we can always hope :)). This episode we have V6's papa and mama, Sakamoto & Nagano. Both of them are foodies, so this show is all about food, food & food. Hence we'll also see lots of Sho-chan's 1001 face expression and chipmunk munching face too! I'm skipping Sato Shiori's segment because I have tons of caps, really, I ended up with more caps than before.

This is quite a compromising position, isn't it? What did Sho-chan do?

Let's find out... )

Why did both of them appear on Abunai? Ohhh, it's for Gakkou e Ikou! 2015 --> watched it, loved it, felt nostalgic over it, LOL over it, all the feels!!! That one show is V6 at its best!

I love how they got to celebrate their 20th anniversary with lots of activities and with a bang too!!!
spsn: (Default)
Doing this for the obvious reason, and you'll be able to tell what it is when you see the caps. For that very obvious reason, I'm only going to do Miyake Ken's part, though you don't see Tanaka Kei reacted like the way he did here in his drama/movies. For those who don't know who's Tanaka Kei, he's the dude that everybody hates (at least, me) in Gunshi Kanbee, and the sidekick that everybody loves in Library Wars, and the 2 titles mentioned are lead by Okada, ha! Back to the show, Miyake's segment is divided into 2 parts, the first one where he went to Shinjuku nichoume for a survey, who's the one that gay people prefer, Miyake or Sho-chan. Yeah, this is Japan, period. But I got to give it to Ken to handle the topic well and not turn it into a stereotyped disaster. The second one is all about Ken's fetishes, off course, these are all things that he's been broadcasting in other show as well (basically all Matsuko Deluxe's shows that he appeared on...), but for the consideration that this is not midnight show, it's a little bit toned down.

Another round of long caps... )

Ken was in Abunai Yakai to promote the album Super Very best and today exactly V6's anniversary day!!! Again, Happy 20th Anniversary!!! May we have more V6 in 30th, 40th, forever (we don't have 1995-Forever for nothing).
spsn: (Default)
I only cap Sho-chan's segment because invasion of privacy to Sho-chan's hotel room & personal belongings is always precious. No matter how cool Sho-chan is during concert or on TV, he's still a human being, complete with the cuteness and dorkiness (not a lot of humans come with the package, but Sho-chan is one of them). Again, we get to see too many funny Sho-chan's faces (he really can make lots of faces, and it's probably just his normal reactions) The appearance of half drunk Aiba-chan and extremely sober Nino is a huge bonus. What's not to love about these dorks, especially when both of them were defending Sho-chan's taste of clothing (that camouflage pants). The rest of episode, well, we have Abe Hiroshi, but I didn't watch it XD.

very blunt Sho-chan looks very human and normal to me XD
Another long caps.. )

It's been a long time since the last caps, but I just feel the need to do this one. Again, as I mentioned before in the previous Abunai Yakai review, the guests really make the difference for the whole episode (for the better or worse). In this episode we have the casts of Library Wars, Okada Junichi, Fukushi Sota, Eikura Nana, and Kuriyama Chiaki. The focus is on Okada and Fukushi. Each has 2 segments. Okada has the 'riajuu' segment, that obviously he didn't really enjoy segment but tried his best to be a good sport and ended up being adorable, instead of annoying. It'll probably make a whole lot of difference if the person who showing him the way of 'riajuu' around is for example, Miyake Ken LOL. The next Okada's segment is what he enjoys the most, self defence and the art of making a nice body. You can really see the difference of enthusiasm level here. Then, we have Fukushi's segment, his hobby of day dreaming (I skip capping this one because it's just... weird but Fukushi is cute anyway), and him going to Tsutaya for the first time *gasp*. A must watch if you're an Okada's fan or Fukushi Sota's fan, OR if you like to see Sho-chan experienced some Okada's attack moves LOL.

'Aannn <3' baited enough? They should have this scene for the LoveCen game!

TONS of caps here... )
spsn: (Default)
It's been awhile since the last time I did the caps and I get really rusty LOL. I couldn't resist doing this one because:
1. Nino in dress
2. Nino in dress
3. Nino in wedges
The topic itself is to introduce dudes that you don't know, whatever that is. The dudes for this episode are the Vine dude, the kid model, the re-enactment actor (this one is interesting for me) and Lady Beard (I watch of this episode because I'm curious of this one). Overall is a so-so episode, BUT who can resist Nino in dress?

You have trolling from the get go for this episode!
Nino-san start! )

I managed to get rid of I FOR YOU from my brain, but instead my brain decided to latch on to another song, FLOWER by GACKT. This song is so addicting and there're so many versions and arrangements, which makes it interesting to listen to. Well, to top it up, GACKT is an amazing performance artist, and hail Youtube for having so many clips on GACKT's concerts, wish it's the same for Johnny's stuff, but we all know Johnny's is ... Johnny's. But the interesting part is that he also can be funny in his variety show persona. His variety show image change slightly throughout the years (yeah, I've consumed enough clips from 2000 to 2015), but he knows what he's doing and I find that he smartly calculates whatever he says on TV. With that, to me GACKT is very mainstream LOL.

So, what GACKT gotta do with Arashi? If you've been following Arashi long enough, you'll definitely know those golden VS Arashi and the Shiyagare episodes. I still remember how much I laughed when I watched it the first time and the laughter didn't die down when I rewatch it again. And since I'm quite stressed out in the past few days, this post is kind of my therapy and there're tons of caps (I try to reduce them down though).
It's always interesting from these 4 episodes how Arashi turns into cute puppies (even Matsujun with his DoS persona) and flogging around the aniki. And GACKT seems to have some favorites among Arashi, and it's changing throughout the years too LOL.

It's gonna be a long post... 4 episodes compilation! )VS Arashi ~ 2009.07.04 )
VS Arashi 2009.11.26 )
Arashi Shiyagare 2011.07.16 )
VS Arashi 2012.01.03 )

I hope GACKT could appear again on Arashi show XD

This episode may not be one of those gold episodes but I had fun watching it, plus it's the 200th episode (!), plus I like the hot uncle Osawa Takao. Though he's burnt and skinny in this episode, partly due to his movie, good looking guys are easily forgiven LOL. Obviously Sho-chan & Matsujun had too much fun in this segment as well as Osawa-san himself. He practically tried so hard not to LOL throughout the segment. The Aiba 'Dandy' Masaki segment with Yoshida Kotaro was half amuzing, but I'm not particularly fond of it. The last part is the Shiyagare making Nino WORKed again on his day off. They might as well just make a gaming segment for Nino (him playing games, talk about cheats & strategies), rather than making him do all those weird & awkward thing. I think that'll be more fun & amuzing to watch. I'd think that'd be fair as the rest of the boys get to do what they wanted to do.

Since it's 200th Episode (Omedetou!) we have these 2 guests.

200th Episode... )

It's been awhile ne. Last week was a Juntoshi LA & LV trip. It's glorious, and fun (sleepy Ohno is a must see). But what about this week? For the caps, I'm going to skip the Gundam segment, though I like the guest, but I'm not familiar with the 1st generation Gundam so I cannot really related to what they're talking about. This episode also shows how good is the editing skill of Shiyagare staff. I've been noticing this since their Hawaii trip segment. What makes the segment funny is the narration and the caps. This is very apparent on Matsujun's segment (the 'feeling' and J's choise placement were damn epic). Having Arashi being dorky is a bonus, and I'd think it's quite low budget as well because they just send a few staff plus 1 or 2 Arashi members out there and have fun with it.

What disaster vacation actually awaits these 2 LOL...

I do the caps for this episode because of the keihan (chicken rice). It looks so healthy and yummy, plus Matsujun loves it (if we follow Matsujun's kinda food, I think we can loose weight well LOL). I'm skipping the rest of Tsuyoshi's segment and the MC MJ corner though Matsujun has some funny fail moments there.

Are, today's sensei is in bad mood?
Keihan... )

In a way, I start to appreciate this show, not all aspects of it, but some. I'm still only going to watch the episodes whereby the guests are either Johnny's or those that I like because this show somewhat makes those Johnny's idols that we know somewhat more human and though lots of aspects are still made for TV, we get to see a glimpse of the different side, not so glamorous and flashy side of them, and I really appreciate this.

So, for this time, it's Ouroboros combi aka Hanakimi reunion time! If you haven't watched the episode 1, you should watch it, seriously. And if you don't find me convincing at all (afterall I'm very bias LOL), maybe after you watch this episode, you really feel like watching it because they really do a good job with the promotion, mostly Toma's doing the work while Oguri is just laughing on the side, ha!

What's with Oguri Shun and lemon sour?

Abunai Yakai スタート )

Well, I'm definitely watching this drama, especially after Epi 1..
Some caps from Epi 1

Ouroboros Epi 1... )

It's Aiba month!!! And tomorrow is his day and off course X'mas Eve!
I've been skipping lots of episodes (I'll make an effort to backtrack and do the caps for the older episodes, especially the gardening ones), but until then, this episode will do. The Manabu members are giving Aiba-chan a 'surprise' birthday and x'mas party, but, off course in the end the birthday boy is the one doing most of the work LOL. It's a fun episode as always. I like Mori-san and you'll understand why from this episode XD.

What did birthday boy doing here?
Happy Merry X'mas!! (in Engrish LOL)... )

These 2 or 3(?) weeks will look like Arashi invasion on TV. All those things that they do in Hawaii are finally being broadcasted (it's about time!). From Shiyagare, VSA (the crying Ohno episode, and I wonder how much beer they drank during that session alone), NHK, and I'm not even sure what else LOL. Am pretty sure there'll be subs everywhere for these and rest assure when Arashi is left alone, things get interesting and naturally funny (afterall, it's their strength). But after I watched NHK documentary, I thought of doing snippets of this documentary because NHK did such a good job on it, and I won't be surprised Arashi gained even more fans after this. Seriously, they captured sides of Arashi that are rarely shown to the public, especially them in the working mode. This documentary trully show how dedicated they are to their job and they do it with heart too. Lots of consideration towards their surroundings are given to not only fans, but also the staffs in order to produce an output. No wonder everybody loves to work with Arashi.

*Note: I may translate things wrongly since my Japanese is limited, but I'll do my best. Do let me know if there's points that I do incorrectly.

Snip snip snip... )

Gah! Too many feels... Once again 15周年おめでとう!
spsn: (Default)
This episode is quite fun and reminded me of Mago Mago Arashi's 'Totsugeki Bangohan' segment. The only difference from MMA is that this totsugeki segment is done in the luxury restaurant, not at somebody's household. Off course before that we have our home garden recipe. This time it's a very simple recipe but honestly I've never thought that it'll go well together :).

Attack!!! )
spsn: (Default)
Have you guys heard Digitalian? <3 While having the feels of the PV (shake it shake your body!), the making (FINALLY, after all these years), and off course the album, we still have the boys' regular shows, and this Shiyagare is half half fun and not as fun (well, it's not super mundane but oh well, let's just say that last week's better, and probably the guests play a part too). The second segment, the fashion show with 100K JPY budget, is just full of trolling and LOL.
So, caps away... )
spsn: (Default)
Another fun episode to watch especially the later. Seriously I couldn't stop LOL and kya-ing at absurdness and hilarity. I don't cap much on the SMAP Bistro portion because... despite it's quite interesting but it's more informative. Suzuki Ryohei has been appearing with this informative travel recommendation on beautiful landscape. What I'm not sure is if he actually went to those places he recommended. If not, then it's a little bit of a let down as it'll be just for information purposes.

Anyhoo, enjoy the caps... )
